The making of "Future and Gunna in casino"
Check out the details of how this outstanding piece by me was made.
The Sketch
Every artwork begins with sketching. Sketching is one of the most important steps in creating art. Without a great sketch, there is no great art. I sketched the characters and the casino table.
For this piece, I used only Adobe Illustrator, from sketch to finish.
Black outline
In my artistic style, the black outline has a really important role, as it defines the whole piece. I used the sketch to draw the black outline on top of it.
The fun part
I called the rest of the making the fun part. It can be divided into stages:
1. Adding Base colours
2. Finishing key features (for example the fur coat)
3. Shading
Sometimes I split the artwork into characters and then repeat this process for each of them.
Color grading
I usually tweak my artworks with color grading to make them more visually appealing, for that I use Lightroom
